Beladi TV, one of the latest additions to the growing number of Iraqi TV stations representing the diverse but still unified aspirations of Iraqi's to have a bright and peaceful future.
On the whole, Beladi TV presents itself as an all-Iraqi channel that is unbiased and non representative of any particular group. It is true that Beladi belongs to the Da’wa Party; however they bring the news as it happens and never misrepresents the eventual news or a particular group over another.
“Beladi” itself - which means “my country”- aims not only to have a nationalistic message that’s aligned with self-identity of Iraqis everywhere, but also one that resonates with their high level of education and wide interests. As such, Beladi offers a multitude of general entertainment, current affairs, news, kids programs, documentaries on all kinds of subjects and a host of other types of programs.
