Deera TV presents itself to its viewers living in the ever expansive Arab world as a timely Emirates Station showcasing variety shows acting as an entertainment channel. There is no current affairs news what so ever… With JumpTV and a high-speed Internet connection, the broadcast will emphasize soaps and live documentary shows instead. Based out of Dubai,Deera TV will cover the conferences taking place around the city with a show titled, “Events Time” showing on Mondays.
Deera itself - which means “my tribe”- aims not only to have a pluralistic message that’s aligned with the self-identity of Arab nationals everywhere, but also one that resonates with their high level of education and wide interests.
